Admission for B.Des at Gurukul School of Design is both entrance based and merit based.

Gurukul School of Design created their own selection criteria for admitting candidates through entrance test after 12th. The insitute has 5 steps which are Self portrait, Written Ability Test, Portfolio designing, Skill sharing, Creative representation of idea.

Post completion of the entire process, Personal Interview of the candidate will be conducted. 2 levels are there in the entrance exam of GSD which are Home Exam and Situation Exam.

The minimum 12th score required for a CBSE Board applicant is 50%. A candidate should have score atleast 50% in 12th to get eligible for B.Des admission at Gurukul School of Design.
