56 marks may not be sufficient to take admission for BDes at National Institute of fashion technology Patna. Although your admission totally depends on the cutoff rank. This year the cutoff rank for BDes ( fashion designing) this year was 1692. The cutoff was not too much high, but 56 marks may not be sufficient. It also depends on for which specialisations you are applying for. Different specialisations will have different cutoffs as for all the departments different number of seats are available.

Both Institute are good if you are trying to pursue B Des. But if we compare both the institutes NIFT Delhi is a better option. Although placement pacakges are high in NIFT Patna but in other factors NIFT Delhi is much better. Ranking of NIFT Delhi is higher, which is #1 and for NIFT patana which is #7 in India. The difference can be seen. NIFT Delhi is ahead in many factors such as infrastructure, faculty members etc. Although NIFT Patna is also a good Institute and is one of the best college of Bihar. The final choice should be made overseeing all other factors also.
