Dear Sakshi,
We have faculty members who have been working in the design industry for more than 3 decades, also teachers who are young and ready to guide you like a friend, so its the right balance of traditional design education mixed with learning through fun activities. We encourage out of the box thinking, innovation, and believe in creating individuals who will be able to make their mark with their own unique design styles. The placement scenario is quite commendable and we are proud of our budding design geniuses who are getting final placements/ Projects / Internships in reputed organizations.
The aspiring design students are shown different ways to apply classroom learning in professional contexts such as internships and develop job-seeking skills, materials, and networks. Not only that, UID helps them explore careers and work after they graduate - and even jobs while they are students. If someone wishes to pursue advanced studies or start his/her own business, the institute offers further resources for next steps too. The UID Alumni Association offers its students useful career resources along with opportunities to stay connected to the community.

Many of our design students don't restrict their thinking to getting a job only. They aspire to become trendsetters and start their own ventures. We help them to start their own business from initial ideation to operational stage. To help foster entrepreneurial abilities in the aspiring design students, we even tied-up with Wadhwani Foundation-National Entrepreneurship Network to integrate its entrepreneurial culture within UIDs design pedagogy.
