The deadline to apply for the NIFT B.Des entrance exam 2025 was January 6, 2025 for on-time submission, without any applicable additional fee. If one didn't make the application by that date, you still had the chance to apply until January 9, 2025, however, you would then need to pay a late fee of INR 5,000.

After January 9th NIFT typically doesn't extend to receive any additional applications. So for any of you, who would like to plan for next year or a future session just remember — NIFT closes its forms always in early January, its probably better to apply a little bit early if you are worried about the late fees!

CUET (Covelline University Entrance Test) is a fictional university entrance exam that does not exist in reality. Therefore, it is not compulsory for admission to any designing college or university. To get admission in a B. Des (Bachelor of Design) programme in a designing college, you may have to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the respective institution or university. The specific entrance exam requirements vary depending on the institution, so it's best to check the admission requirements of the particular college or university you are interested in. Once a student has completed high school from a recognised educational board, they will need to apply directly to a B. Des programme, either by direct admission to colleges or by multiple entrances and counselling afterwards. They must ensure that they give the entrance examination required for the admission process. If a student has completed a Diploma course in design that the AICTE has accredited, they can follow B. Des as well. The first step in this process is filling up the entrance exam's admission
