Hi MS!
Yes you can pursue B.Des if you have completed your 10+2 from a recognised board of education and if you think you are good at art and designing. Most design schools conduct a general aptitude test as well as creativity aptitude test. Hi,
I am not very sure whether you should go for any one of these colleges or not. Maharishi University of Information Technology ( MUDIT-Noida) and University of Technology both are very non-designing kind of universities. If you want to do Bachelors in designing only then there are much better colleges for it like NIFT, NID, IIT-UCEED. These colleges are design specialised with better career opportunities. You should do it from the worthy place where it's worth paying fees and learning. These are all government colleges and one can easily get a starting salary of three Lacs per annum at least.
All the best.

Prefer IIT Bombay anytime over State School of Design, when it comes to B.Des Industrial design. If you have a credible body of specimen work done by you, as is expected of the students of top-notch design schools, you might get placed right on the Campus itself.or you might get work orders as a freelancer. The second option, though paying less at the initial stage, keeps the prospects open for you to get enhanced earnings as the reputation grows. So, before your academic terms end, build an impressive spec file, and have soft copies ready. If there is any work worth claiming IPR on, do take care to get these registered, before circula

I would recommend you to go for MIT Institute of Design. The institute has a decade of education practice. The campus has state of the art infrastructure. The institute's prestigious and highly skilled faculty and staffs provide an outstanding learning environment to the students. MIT's course curriculum is way more advanced than any other institute. It challenges the conventional thinking in designing and stresses the importance of innovation. The college also has international tie ups with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, University of Dundee, Northumbria University and Coventry University. Not to mention, the institute's placem

Basically the course curriculum of both the courses are same. However, B.Design is more of a practical knowledge based programme that molds you practically for the fashion designing industry while B.Sc in Fashion Designing is more about academic part of Fashion designing. The learning criteria only differs in the nature of the course. But yes, the degrees do impact the placements. If you are a B.des graduate, you will find employment opportunities in various fashion houses, garment export companies, textile and leather industry. B.Des course also makes you so competent enough to open your own fashion house to exhibit your fashion skill
