Moreover, after comparing the round 3 closing ranks of the same course, they were 170 and 165 in 2024 and 2023, respectively. No, aspirants looking forward to pursue BDes at NIFT, Chennai cannot get enrollment without appearing for the entrance exam. The selection criteria for the BDes course at NIFT Chennai is entrance-based. Students are shortlisted based on the scores obtained in The National Institute of Technology (NIFT) exam. Moreover, they must fulfil the preset eligibility criteria and present the relevant documents supporting them. Additionally, the exam is conducted once every year and is further segregated into two parts:
