Education: Graduation (min 3 years) in any discipline with min 60% marks and have passed Maths and Physics as subject at 10+2 level B.E/ B.Tech from a recognised University with min 60% marks. Age Limit : 20 to 24 years.

Each state university conduct own entrance exam for lateral entry students. So, appear in that exam. Moreover, some deemed university conduct own entrance exam or also fill seats management seats directly.

Assume you must be nervous, being in an entirely different field how you would catch-up without any basic knowledge. If so, then I would suggest to go for a post graduation programme than Diploma, where you get to cover all the basics in first semester. Speaking of courses, I would suggest fashion design, fashion styling or textile design due to lots of demand. Fashion design covers all different sections and has lots of flexibility in career, where you could be an illustrator, stylist, designer, visual merchandiser and many more. Normally speaking, process of lateral admission begins after declaration of results of diploma in engineering in the state of MP. Also this process begins normally after completion of admission process of engineering colleges for 1st year has been completed.
