Selection criteria at U.V. Patel College of Engineering Ganpat University for B.E. / B.Tech course is based on the entrance exam scores and eligibility criteria. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for admission that is they must have passed their 12th from a recognised board with minimum 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Also they need to get a good rank in JEE Mains or qualify Gujarat Common Entrance Test for admission because Admission is primarily based on the entrance exam Scores.

Check if you qualify: You need to finish your 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Maths. Usually you will need a KEAM or JEE score.
To apply:
- Simply log on to simat.ac.in and fill the B.Tech admission form.
- Or visit the college and apply at the help desk directly.
If you want to join through counselling:
- After getting your KEAM/JEE results, you can choose SIMAT in the counselling process.
Documents to bring:
- 10th and 12th marksheet, KEAM or JEE scorecard and ID proof. Also bring other basic documents.
You will then have to pay the fee and confirm your seat.

To enroll in the B.E. / B.Tech course at Sreepathy Institute of Management and Technology (SIMAT), you should:
Complete your 12th grade with Physics and Maths as well as another Science subject.
Achieve 45% (and 50% for general categories) in Physics, Maths and another Science subject (relaxation applicable for reserved categories).
You should write KEAM or JEE Main – admission is based on your score.
You should attend the Kerala state counselling process to get a seat.
If you are a Diploma holder, you can also join into the second year through lateral entry.

To enter B.Tech at Universal Engineering College (UEC):
1. Complete 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, Maths subjects with no less than 50%.
2. Take a Kerala entrance exam called KEAM (usually Feb–Mar)
3. After results, attend the KEAM counselling and choose UEC.
4. If allocated a seat, submit all documents to the college along with the fee.

To be admitted to the B.Tech at the Universal Engineering College complete the following steps:
1. Complete the 12th grade with PCM and 50% marks minimum.
2. Complete KEAM (Usually in April)
3. Register for admission (using your KEAM rank) through Kerala's Central Allotment Process (CAP).
4. If selected, then present your documents and submit fees at the college.

To apply for a B.E./B.Tech programme at Sri Ramanujar Engineering College (SREC, Kolapakkam), candidates need to apply through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process. Admissions are based on the merit list prepared from Class 12 scores.
Eligibility:
