M.B.M. Engineering College has been upgraded to a public state university known as M.B.M. University.
The admissions to the B.E. and B.Arch. programs of the university are carried out through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP), organized by the Center for E-Governance, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur.
According to the official website of REAP, the last date to fill out and lock the college choices of candidates in each category is today, after which it will release the cutoff in multiple rounds.
To be eligible for admission to B.E. in electronics and electrical engineering, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with a 45% aggregate in subjects from physics, mathematics, and chemistry, or an equivalent science subject.
In addition, candidates may be required to submit a JEE score.
As of now, the final merit list has been published on the REAP portal under the Candidate Panel. Whereas, the cutoff will be available from the first week of October for all B.E. courses.

Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad (GECA) is an autonomous engineering institute in Maharashtra state India. It is affiliated with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathawada University and was established in 1960.
Candidates must appear for MHT-CET for GECA Aurangabad B.E admissions. The GECA Aurangabad cutoff is the minimum mark that candidates must obtain in order to be considered for admission to the college. The cut-off for GECA Aurangabad is determined by a number of factors, including the total number of candidates taking the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of seats reserved for reserved category candidates, and the total number of seats available in the specific course. The higher the number of candidates appearing for the entrance exam, the higher the GECA Aurangabad cutoff. The more difficult the questions in the exam, the lower the GECA Aurangabad cutoff. Candidates whose names appear on the cut-off list of the college are invited to appear for Maharashtra CAP All India counseling. The Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad for the B.E. in Computer Science Engineering cutoff for the previous year was 3415(Opening Home State rank) and 3841(Closing Home State rank) for home state students. A college cut has not been declared yet for this year.

Unless you need the IIT Tag to flaunt in front of your relatives and unless you have some specific interest in these fields or unless you are planning to work hard to get a vertical branch transfer, go for NITs on the basis of your Mains rank or go for a drop. If your Open Rank is 3032, then you have a lot to choose from: - (The best options in no specific order, according to me are chosen as there are 50 and more branches open)

I'm currently in 2nd year of Civil Engineering in R.C Patel Institute of Technology COE. From my 2 years of experience I would tell that it's a good college. Faculties are good. In first year we had some young faculties who were not that experienced. But for core subjects of civil engineering which we study in 2nd year , we have experienced faculties who have over 10+ years of experience.
And yes, lectures happen regularly. ( Bad news huh.? ) And you go to defaulters list if you don't attend enough lectures. What has to be done with students of defaulters list is decided by respective faculty. Mostly they will give you assignment to solve.
