Eligibility criteria for B.E. / B.Tech courses offered at Somany (PG) Institute of Technology and Management is completion of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or an equivalent examination.

Aggregate marks should be minimum 50% in the subjects, Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject out of Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science. Candidates also have to meet the eligibility criteria required for the relevant entrance examination - either JEE Main or state level depending upon the institute's admission process. This will assure one with a seat in his or her desired engineering course.

To be eligible for the admission in BTech programme at Hirasugar Institute of Technology - HSIT you need to meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Passing the 12th standard with English as one of the languages. And obtain 45% in aggregate in physics and mathematics which are compulsory subjects.
  • Eligibility: An Individual must have to pass class 12th with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects

Candidates who want to take admission in B.E. / B.Tech. course in BM College of Technology must have done the 12th class as they require a minimum 45% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics along with one more subject as Chemical or Bio-technology / Biology. They have also required to register and situate in the JEE Mains or MPPET Examination because the marks attained by the candidates in these exams must have to be taken by them.

Candidates should have passed their 12th class with mathematics, physics, and chemistry as the main subjects securing an aggregate of minimum marks 45% and more for general category, but 40% for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC. Admission will be provided for students through entrance exams such as JEE Main or MPPET. A B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering can be pursued at the Bangalore College of Engineering and Technology (BCET). The four-year program is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, which ensures that the degree is recognized. The college has modern infrastructure and experienced faculty, both of which are important for a solid educational experience.
Student reviews indicate a mixed experience. Placements and infrastructure receive 3.3/5. This institute is said to take almost 4 lakh as a program tuition fee, and its cost of study would compete with others in this region. In all, it seems BCET is not the wrong option
