No, admission to the B.E./B.Tech course at Rural Engineering College (REC) in Karnataka requires the COMEDK UGET exam. The application process for COMEDK UGET 2025 is expected to begin in February 2025.

Eligibility criteria for Hirasugar Institute of Technology (HSIT) for B.E. / B.Tech admissions are completion of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with aggregate of at least 45% in relevant subjects. Admissions are given based on the entrance exam scores of JEE Main or Karnataka CET. Prospective students should submit an online application form available on the HSIT website, along with required documents and an application fee. A merit list will be prepared, followed by counseling for seat allocation. Updates will be available on the official website.

For admission to B.E. / B.Tech at K.S. Group of Institutions the candidates are required to give approximately 10-12 documents apart from the application form which is available in the college website. Other demanded certificates and documents comprise are marks MEMO of 10 th and 12 th standard, transfer certificate, migration certificate, Caste & Income certificate, KCET/COMEDK hall ticket & rank card. Also the candidates should enclose 5 – 6 passport size photographs and the demand draft of around Rs 500 – Rs 1000 towards the application fee. Original documents submitted have to be authenticated or notarised by a gazetted officer

The total tuition fee for a four-year BTech course at the K.S. Group of Institutions ranges between INR 2.7 Lakhs to INR 10.46 Lakhs depending on the specialisation of BTech in which the student is interested. The college offers twenty two specialisations in BTech. Apart from this, the student may also need to pay some additional charges like hostel fee, application fee, admission fee, etc.
