Eligibility criteria to seek admission in B.Ed in Jammu University is that you must have passed minimum three years Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with 50% marks (for General Category) and 45% marks (for Reserved Category). You are not eligible to seek admission in B.Ed at University of Jammu.

Candidate must have passed graduation with 50% marks from a recognized college/ university.
Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in B.Ed. JEE examination and also based on marks obtained in graduation.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Arts/Commerce/Science streams from any recognised board with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate. Candidates must have B.A. Or B.Sc. Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. B.Sc. Degree holders must have studied any two of the following subjects; Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany or Zoology. Or B.A. Degree holders must have studied any one of the following subjects; Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi or Urdu And any one of History, Economics, Geography or Political Science.

You can go for B.Ed after your B.Tech. Eligibility for B.Ed in most of the top universities is Pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech. Or B.E. With specialisation in Science and Mathematics, rest it may vary with the university you choose. 1 -Graduate/post graduate degreewith a minimum aggregate of 55 percent marks (40 percent marks in case of SC/ST candidates).
2- Two years of relevant teaching experience from a CBSE/ICSE/NCTE or state board affiliated school/institution or organisation. Age limit:
- For fresher students - 40 Years
-For deputed students - 45 Years.
