Yes you are eligible if your both the education degree from valid and recognised university and you are fulfilled the desire requirement for Govt post.

School teaching nd Professorship are two different areas so if u are aspiring to become a professor you should prepare for NET after post grad. Other path could be completing mba to join management college as professor.

According to me you should go for B.ed in regular mode and MA-english as distance mode.That will solve your purpose means you will get the study of teaching methodology and pursue your master degree so after your placed in particular school as teacher than you would get the higher classes for teaching.

Yes you can do this type of education and this is Valid too because most of the B.ed student doing this kind of process to pursue their higher education side by side their Teaching Education to getting higher class in school when they would placed as a Teacher.

You can do diploma in education also. This will give you opportunity to teach upto 8th standard if you have graduation. If you are PG and have Bed you can teach 11 n 12th or even colleges.
