No one can give a perfect answer when it comes to placements. As of now the placements are average, but that's not a precedent for the upcoming years. But academics are good here.

Both are entirely different courses. B.Tech food technology makes you employ in food and food preservative industries like ITC. As a food technologist you'll earn 2-3 lacs/annum as a fresher and 6-12 lacs/ annum as experienced professional. Your career can be QA/QC in manufacturing industries too. Else, B.Pharma makes you employ in any pharma sector within 1.8 lacs-2.5 lacs/annum but Masters in M.Pharma is important for a decent pay scale.
