In the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), entrance examination of Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (PB B.Sc. Nursing) programme was conducted on June 28, 2025, i.e. paper based on the entrance examination (PBNET) conducted in the 2025 session. The initial result of this entrance exam was announced on 2 and July 2025, and counselling started soon after. It is notable the cycle of the university admission always runs along with these dates annually.

The marking scheme of the AMU B.Sc. Hons. Entrance Exam is such that candidate gets 1 mark per correct answer. The marking of incorrect answers is negative where 0.25 marks are deducted on each incorrect answer. The test generally comprises 100 objective type questions in each of the mandatory subjects such as English, Physics and Chemistry and an optional one such as Mathematic, Biology or Home Science based on the B.Sc. Hons. stream selected.

The BSc entrance exam difficulty depends on the exam and the university/ college you want to target. The difficulty level varies from moderate to advance, Some exams, like the CUET UG will require deep understanding of concepts in subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. While some exams might be comparatively easier, like the Nursing exam, AIIMS BSc, others, like the AMU BSc. Entrances are generally considered manageable with some preparation.

IUST Awantipora accepts CUET UG scores for admission to its BSc courses (except in BSc in Nursing). The entrance exam is conducted by the NTA. It is usually conducted around May - June every year. In 2025, NTA has scheduled the CUET UG exam to be conducted in multiple slots between May 08 and June 01, 2025. Candidates seeking admission to BSc in Nursing at IUST must stay updated on the admission schedule released by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE).

NEET UG is the accepted entrance exam for BSc admission at IMS BHU. The exam is conducted once every year by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam dates vary yearly. It is usually conducted in May. In 2025, the NEET 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2025 (2 pm to 5 pm). The application process for the same was conducted between Feb 7, 2025 and Mar 7, 2025. Eligible candidates can visit the official NEET UG (NTA) website to apply for the exam.

BSc Entrance exam syllabus is divided into 3 domains subjects, two languages, and GK test. The first section will contain language, in the second section, you'll get domain specific subjects, and under GK section, you'll get general aptitude, current affairs, numerical ability, reasoning, quantitative, etc.
