While both courses are undergraduate level, the major difference between them is that a BA in Hotel Management can be pursued by any student irrespective of their stream, while a BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration can be pursued only by Science students.

IHM Jaipur Cutoff 2024 Round 4 has been released for BSc course. The Cutoff was released for the B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration course. The closing cutoff for the General AI category candidates was 9974. The IHM Jaipur Cutoff 2023 for the general AI category candidates was 10232 and during the year 2022, the same was 3975. IHM Chennai cutoff 2026 has been released for admission to the B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration course at the undergraduate level. The cutoff was released based on candidates' performance in the NCHMCT JEE entrance exam scores. During the Round 1 admission, the closing rank stood at 2442 for Chennai, Taramani campus, and 4521 for the Tirupati campus.
