Yes, to make a career in law or say practice in the court of law, it is mandatory to appear and qualify for AIBE, conducted by the Bar Council of India. Hence those candidates who wish to build a career in the field of litigation and start practising across various courts in India must appear for AIBE and procure the certificate in order to be eligible for advocacy.

Both the degrees i.e. an LLB after a BSc course and a five-year integrated LLB degree are the better options. However, it depends on the qualifications and interests of the candidates as well. If the candidate has just passed the class 12 examination, then he/ she should prefer a five-year integrated LLB course. Whereas, candidates who want to study Bachelor of Science first then their only option would be an LLB degree.

For the UG courses, the GNLU Gandhinagar CLAT cutoff 2023 was 2378 for the general category, 1193 for EWS, 5613 for SC, 10837 for ST, 1852 for OBC and 15666 for PwD category students.However, based on the cutoff trends provided, candidates seeking admission to the BA LLB (Hons) course at GNLU Gandhinagar needed to secure a rank between 400 and 470 for admission. The last round closing rank for BA LLB (Hons) stood at 462 for the General All India category students in 2023
