TS LAWCET 2026: Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) released TS LAWCET syllabus for entrance exam. Candidates can download syllabus of TS LAWCET from official website. They can also check Telangana LAWCET 2026 syllabus for all sections on this page too. It must be noted that along with notification, TS LAWCET syllabus is released.

TS law exam syllabus carries section-wise topics. There will be three sections in exam GK and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for Study of Law. Both 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB entrance exam question papers will have same subjects and similar weightage. They are also advised to refer to TS LAWCET 2026 question paper during their preparation to score better.

TS LAWCET Syllabus 2026: Important Topics for Aptitude for the Study of Law

The questions asked in the Study of Law section are based on topics such as Legal Awareness, Legal Principles, and Legal Reasoning. Candidates will have to study for the following topics to ace this section.

  4. Criminal Law

Fundamental rights, directive principles, organs of government, and amendments should be studied along with the formation of contracts and remedies. Candidates must also study the Indian Penal Code (IPC) - general principles, specific offenses, and general exceptions.

In the Legal Principles, the important topics include interpretation of statutes and legal documents, legal maxims (short, well-established principles of law), etc. However, for Legal Reasoning, candidates must know the case analysis and be adept at legal research.

The TS LAWCET Exam syllabus for the 3-year LLB and the 5-year LLB courses is similar, but there is a difference in the difficulty level. The TG LAWCET 2026 Five-year integrated LLB course is at the Intermediate level/10+2 level, and the TG LAWCET 2026 three-year LLB course is at the degree level.
