There are approximately 21 colleges which have BSc Radiology courses, out of which 4 are government, 7 are private and 1 is public private. Choosing best colleges for BSc Radiology education can be tough, specially when there are a lot of options in front of candidates. At this point it becomes very important to filter them out according to your liking, budget and career plan.

There are only 2 govt. colleges in Delhi that offer BSc Radiology:

When we talk about the course of BPharma, it mainly focuses on areas like Pharmaceutical sciences, drug development, testing, & dispensing. BPharma is a course that will land you a job in industries like hospitals, clinical research, and regulatory sectors. Now, if we talk about the next course, ie, a BSc in Radiology and Imaging Technology, it actually focuses on medical imaging techniques such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans. A BSc in Radiology and Imaging Technology can allow you to work for the relevant set-ups in healthcare technology, which can lead to direct patient interaction in a clinical setting.

No Radiology graduates are not considered a doctor.  Radiology graduates are only professionals who operate the machines and not prescribe medicines to patients.

To become a doctor, candidates go for MBBS and go through a tough curriculum of medicine education.

No, after BSc Radiology you cannot open your own clinic.

People with BSc Radiology learn how to do technical work like running X-ray or MRI machine, but they cannot read images or give reports by themself. They always need doctor or radiologist to guide.

In India, to open clinic you need special license and permission. So students must check rules from medical council before thinking to start own practice.
