There's nothing known as a "better stream". All streams are best in their ways and cannot be compared. Although, if you to compare engineering with medicine, they both have pros and cons and MBBS is a slow career while engineering will be dynamic. You can ask more about it to someone close to you who can analyse your need and the stream's requirement.
