First of all the Agriculture course is based on practical knowledge. If you are thinking that you will gain knowledge in these 4 years, then you are highly mistaken. Because Bookish knowledge will never help you once you start working in the field. Indian agriculture education system is still teaching some rough techniques which are not been practiced in the field because most of the chemicals are banned in the field. I would suggest you to opt for B.Sc. (Hons.) agricultural sciences because it has huge recognitions and scope.

Simply you have to visit that institute where you want to get admission. First you have to go CUET and then Cut off for that will go and it changes according to merit every year , you have to score some percentage or some rank for that.

B.Sc is three-year course while B.Tech is a 4-year course, if you want theoretical knowledge go for B.Sc. If practical knowledge is a priority then go for B.Tech.
