Yes there are certain requirements of subjects for each course which has to be pursued.
These requirements vary from university to university and course to course.
These subjects depend on the course you want to pursue further. For eg. BSc Life Science requires you to have PCB subjects with one language.

There are various ways to get into BSc. There are various entrance exams you can give in order to secure your aadmission in BSc. There are multiple state colleges which provide admission on the basis of merit list based on class 12th board exam marks.

Most universities in India do NOT allow lateral entry into general B.Sc courses like Visual Communication after just 1 year.Lateral entry is more common in engineering/diploma to B.Tech or paramedical fields, but rare in creative arts like Visual Communication.
Rather you can get a transfer by contacting the specific college you want to take admission.
