The duration of a BSc Optometry course is typically 4 years. This includes three years of academic study and one year of compulsory internship, which provides hands-on training in hospitals, clinics, or eye-care centers.
The academic phase focuses on building theoretical knowledge in visual sciences, optics, and ocular health, while the internship ensures real-world exposure. This structure helps students develop both strong technical skills and practical competence before entering the profession.

So here's the tea—GMC Chandrapur doesn't offer B.Sc Optometry. They stick to the OG medical degrees like MBBS, MD, and MS. If you're aiming for Optometry, look at other allied health Science colleges in Maharashtra. Most will need a valid MHT-CET score though. Always double-check the official site or call the college before applying—saves time and drama later.
