Entry level salary is more or less the same for almost all B.Sc. courses unless you graduate from one of the IITs or top NITs. When you take up a job as a nursing instructor, staff nurse or registered nurse immediately after clearing 12th, you can expect a consolidated pay package in the band of 2-2.8 LPA in the 1st year.

You should check with the admissions department of your institute for rules regarding this issue. Once you get your TC, it will be difficult persuading the institute authorities to allow you to appear for your backlog in the same college.

Joining an NGO for an Undergraduate should not be difficult, especially in the nursing field. Mostly, people volunteer to work for NGOs for little or no salary, and NGOs are willing to accept these individuals to work for them. You can also check online for the criteria to join the NGO which you wish to join. Mostly, individuals join NGOs to further add to their skill set and to gain relevant work experience which they can use to rejoin the industry at a later stage.
