If you want to become a scientist at ISRO, you should appear for the ISRO qualifying exam rather than appear for GATE.
The eligibility:
BE/B.Tech or equivalent qualification in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10 (average of all semesters for which results are available). Minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in section B alone for candidates with AMIE/Grad IETE qualification.
The qualification prescribed and the benchmark are only the minimum requirement and fulfilling the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for written test.
To answer your question, GATE syllabus for both would be the same.

Hi Md Azeem,
The eligibility conditions for BBA course are:
Any candidate who has passed HSC (10+2) exam from any stream with English as passing subject and secured minimum 45% marks at 12th class.
Admission is based on the entrance test. Normally, there is an objective-type entrance test for admission to B.B.A./B.B.S./B.M.S. courses which evaluates English language, quantitative aptitude and reasoning skills.

There is no such criterion for law (LLB) courses. Graduates in any subject can join to law. Also, the subject is not related to science in any respect. Civil laws, criminal laws, etc. are studied under LLB course. Admission to the course is done through university level entrance exams.
