Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities, but it is not properly utilised.
Placements: Before I join this college, I heard top companies visit our college, and hire most of the students. But according to my seniors and super seniors, there is no placement for biotechnology students. Only if we are interested in an internship or job, they recommend us. I don't know about other courses in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't provide Wi-Fi facility. Labs are good with well-equipped instruments, but it is not properly maintained. For PG, we have only one small classroom for both juniors and seniors in which 45-50 students sit per class, but it can hold only 20-25 students. I have heard the hostel facility is too strict, but it is clean and good. The library is good.
Faculty: Some teachers in our college are very helpful and knowledgeable. They support us in everything. They don't conduct any field trip or industrial visit in any of the semester. But in the final year, we are allowed to carry out our projects outside the college wherever we want.
Other: There are a lot of things in the biotechnology department to get improved. Our college should maintain cleanliness in the labs. Our college should conduct field trip and provide placement cell for biotechnology students. Our college should also conduct department activities and events.
