At first, you decide what do you want. you want to do PH.D or M.Sc or B.Sc. At what level you want to study? At under graduation level, biotech is not enough for job. You need to do M.Sc Biotech or M tech. These days, competition is very tough.
One thing is for sure, you can do it. After BE biotech, you should to do M.Tech Bio-informatics or PhD with bio-informatics.

You cannot become a lecturer after passing B.Sc, you have to pass M.Sc with minimum 55 percent mark and then appear for National eligibility test or state eligibility test conducted by UGC and when you qualify NET or SET you are eligible to be appointed as a lecturer research degree like PhD is always preferred.

The two fields are completely different. The only way you can decide what you like is by doing an elective and see what you like better. Honestly, I think too many people go into anesthesia because they think it's going to be low stress, and later realize it can be very stressful and become very unhappy. I'm sure radiologist, and anesthesiologist, will figure out a way to more money when the cuts come. So, be honest with yourself and do what is most interesting, rewarding, etc.

Specify if you have appeared for any exam or specify any college name as cut off are mainly declared by the university or college, self prediction will never be accurate.
