There is not much difference in salary whether you do B.Tech or BBA or economics honors but your knowledge, skills, market research, commitment and positive attitude will matter in future for growth and salary.

After 12th (PCM) from science background students generally follow B.Sc., B.Sc. honors, followed by M.Sc or MCA. IF you seriously aspire for MBA in a brand B-school then I think you may go for B.Tech first and then MBA as Indian industry prefers B.Tech followed by MBA for placements.

Definitely as per the subject combination you are eligible for pursuing B.Sc life science, provided you are eligible for 12th board mark's criteria in your preferred college.
