B.Sc Zoology

Life Sciences include zoology, botany, and anthropology which are concerned with human beings, animals, and plants. Botany is the study deals with plants life. Botany careers largely deal with the biology of fossil and living plants along with their relationship to the environment. Education in botany includes many specializations in areas such as the taxonomy, physiology and anatomy of plants and their processes. Zoology is the study of animal life. Zoology can include healthcare, animal behaviour, biotechnology, wildlife rehabilitation, science writing, and forensic biology. Graduates often specialize in a particular area of zoology during their studies and can, therefore, find careers geared towards their particular area of focus.

Eligibility Of the Master of Science [M.Sc] (Anthropology):
The candidate must have passed B.Sc. (Hons) Anthropology with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university. Those who have passed B.Sc. /B.A in Anthropology with 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised university are also eligible for M.Sc. Sc. Anthropology. Also, candidate with B.Sc. (H)/ B.Sc. (General)/ B.A. (H)/ B.A. (Pass) with Anthropology as one of the main subjects with 60% marks in aggregate from a recognised university can seek admission in this course. Another eligibility criteria is for M.Sc. Sc. Anthropology is B.Sc. (H) in Botany/ Zoology/ Geology or B.A. (H) in Sociology/ Psychology/ History or B.Sc.
