The branch of science which deals with the study of animals, their structure classifications and their existence in the environment is known as Zoology. The branch is further sub divided into several branches such as - study of fish and their habitats - Ichthyology; study of birds - Ornithology; and study of mammals - Mammalogy.
People specializing in these fields are known as zoologist. To aspire a career in zoology one must be animal lover and have interest in animals.
