Biotechnology does not refer to any particular industry or job. The scope of biotechnology in India is immense because it is an innovative branch of Science that has become popular among youngsters as it provides the various scope of career growth. They can work as production supervisor, quality control inspector, production planner. In the public sector, polymer engineers may find employment with the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural gas, Oil and Natural Gas Commission, Oil India Laboratories, petrochemicals engineering plants, Indian Institute of petroleum.
