B.Tech Biotechnology

The major difference between any B.Sc. Degree and B.Tech degree is the fact that admission to B.Tech is a professional engineering degree and only approved engineering institutes are authorized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grants Commission (India) (UGC) to give this degree; B.Sc. However, is an academic course which is available in almost every college of India. So B.Tech degree has a higher brand value and employability quotient. The course of B.Sc. Biotechnology is of 3 years while that of B.Tech Biotechnology extends over a span of 4 years. LPU provides both B.Sc. And B.Tech degree in Biotechnology
The eligibility criteria for both are as follow
B.Sc. Biotechnology - 60% in Chemistry Physics Maths/Biology + LPUNest
B.Tech Biotechnology - 60% with English Physics maths/biology, Chemistry +LPUNest

I am unaware of the BTech in Biotechnology programme at Bundelkhand University, but as an LPU alumnus, I can give you with information about the LPU BTech in Biotechnology programme.

Patents granted for Novel Inventions
Patent Granted on "A process to remove heavy metals from industrial effluent using Biochar" from inventors Dr Neeta Raj Sharma, Dr. Joginder Singh, and Dr. Ramesh Kanwar along with students Deepika Bhatia and Simrajeet Singh. The patent was filed in 2018 and granted in 2020.

Approved School Project: Floating Wetland Treatment System for removing contaminants from rivers and streams using Biomimicry Approach in collaboration with McGill University (Canada).
