The cutoff trend for BTech in Biotechnology at NIT Calicut has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under the General category for all India quota was 45397. In 2022, it increased to 54460. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 58965 to 64827 for OBC, 6092 to 128601 for SC, 177157 to 143520 for ST, 56413 to 62008 for EWS & 30342 to 2328 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for Engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. NIT Jalandhar cutoff 2023 for Round 2 was released on July 16. For the General category under All India, the opening rank was 31978 and the closing rank was 47996 for NIT Jalandhar. The cut offs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even the domicile of the home state. In All India, the opening and closing rank for female candidates was 44726 and 45366. Admission to NIT Jalandhar BTech in Biotechnology is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam. As per past trends and analysis, the good rank in SRMJEEE can be between 5000-7000.
The eligibility criteria is securing at least 50% marks in class 12 and studying Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects.

Applicant should pass the preffered qualification examination to apply for admission in vistas. he or she must have passed HSC (10+2) or its equivalent with from any recognised Board/council. The only criteria is that you should have passed.

Yes, Bachelor of Technology in biotecgnology is offered at VELS Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS). There is also a similar course in degree that is also available at VELS Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS).
