All the universities perform well at their own ends but Lovely professional University is achieving its own Shine regularly at a higher pace be it academic, research, technology, exposures placements, accreditation, Curriculum Rigor and of course a conducive and diversified campus environment to live in.
One of my known is pursuing same course from LPU and her experience is amazing.
She told me faculty members works hard tirelessly in enabling students with the acumen to apply the findings of Bio sciences in the fields of medicine, forensics, nutrition and dietetics for the benefit of the community.
LPU School of Bioengineering and Biosciences is equipped with state-of-the-art Bioprocess Engineering and Bioscience labs and believes in imparting knowledge to students through a practical approach to achieve mastery in plant and animal physiology.
The course offers specializations in Dairy Technology, Fermentation Technology and Bioinformatics. The curriculum offers prime focus on fundamental and applied aspects of biotechnology. Students can get a foreign degree through international collaborations (2 year in India and 2 years abroad or 2 year in India and 1 year abroad)
In addition to core curricula, course offers subjects like communication and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. She said, specializations may be offered in Dairy Technology or Fermentation Technology or Molecular Biotechnology (subject to minimum number of students and feasibility)
The curriculum has been designed in such a way that it makes it easier for the students to prepare themselves for giant exams like CSIR-NET, ICMR, ICAR, and GATE. Hello Thirisha, You have scored almost 72 as percentile. This means there are 28% students who have score better than you. If 10 Lacs students have appeared for JEE Mains exam, then there would be almost 3 Lacs students above you. The total number of seats available in all NIT combined together is much less. In view of this I am afraid your chances of getting a seat in any course are quite low. But one never knows since there are special quota for girl candidates in all the NIT.
