Hi, you need to give college entrance test for admission or good score in JEE or eamcet or any other state level engineering exam.60% marks are required in 12th with pcm. Fee of the college is little high for middle class people. Infrastructure and teachers are good but placement are in small companies only.

Minimum eligibility for admission is HSC with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and 60% marks in PCB/ PCM subjects. Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech courses have to appear for JEE Main/ Amity JEE entrance exam.
Amity JEE entrance exam consists of 4 sections namely General English (15 questions), Physics and Chemistry (25 questions each) and Mathematics/ Biology (25 questions). Four marks would be awarded for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
Selection is done on the basis of the merit list of JEE Main/ Amity JEE entrance exam.

I think it is the worst field of B.Tech so you can drop one year instead of going for this branch, but if you want to go for future higher studies then you can take this branch. In India there is no major scope for this but abroad it has very good value.
