R.V College of Engineering is one of the good institution providing good placements and proper training to all students and connecting students with right companies. In Department of Biotechnology, college is inviting the right companies for placements such as Genotypic Technology, Pragati Biocare, Gangagen Biotechnologies Pvt Ltd etc. So the companies used to recruit 50% of students which is a good number in Bangalore as compared to other colleges. Overall the placement of BE in Biotechnology from R.V. College of Engineering is good. I will advise others to join BE in Biotechnology at R.V college as they have a good reputation in the

You would most probably have to clear your supplementary exam in Maths before you could be eligible for admission in B.Tech Biotechnology.

After your board exams you have to appear for the JEE examination. You should have PCM or PCB as your core subjects and should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in your boards to qualify for the JEE exams. After you appear for the JEE, selection for bio-technology is done on merit basis.

It depends on what your CET or ComedK rank is, not entirely on your board marks. There is a weightage given to your board marks only in CET not ComedK.
