Hello dear,
Changing a branch in B.Tech is very difficult procedure not only in Banasthali, but also in any other institutions. Being difficult does'nt speaks its impossible.
Changing the branch basically depends upon which branch you want? If that new Branch is most sought after, then its very Impossible to get (Eg: CSE). Chances of your win is negligible.
And, if you are going after most uncommonly sought branch (CE, BioTech), there are chances that you will win, but that will require lot of headache.
Atlast, I would only suggest you, in first year only you better choose your branch carefully, to avoid after effects.

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech in Computer Science (CS) typically require students to have a background in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) for several reasons:
- Physics and Chemistry help develop analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Understanding concepts from these subjects can enhance a student's ability to tackle complex problems, which is crucial in computer science.
- Mathematics is fundamental to computer science. Topics like discrete mathematics, algorithms, and data structures heavily rely on mathematical concepts.

In most cases, having math as a subject in 12th grade is required for admission to a B.Tech program, especially in Computer Science. Mathematics forms the foundation for many concepts in computer science, and universities typically require it as a prerequisite.
However, some private universities or specialized programs may have flexible entry criteria, offering foundation or bridge courses in mathematics for students who didn't take it in high school. It's best to check directly with the universities or colleges you're considering to see if they offer such options.
