See, the average tuition fees for BTech Electrical Engineering course at top Indian colleges and universities depends on the academic institution, its location, whether it is private or government, and other student benefits being offered by the institution. The average fees range between INR 2 lakh and 15 lakh in general.
For private colleges, the fees will obviously be higher than the government institutes because of their infrastructural facilities, educational resources and other privileges that they will provide you. Further, if you wish to get into IITs and NITs, the fees structure is quite expensive.

While there is some overlap, ECE courses focus more on communication technologies and the interaction between electronic circuits and software. Electrical Engineering courses have a broader scope, encompassing power generation, transmission, and utilization of electrical energy.

Yes, RGUKT (IIIT Basara) is a really good college for core branch such as B.Tech in Electrical Engineering as its the lowest package is about 3.6 LPA but the highest package is of 10 LPA and the average salary package ranges from 5-6 LPA.

You should accept the Electrical branch in NIT Silchar rather than CSE in IIITS as NIT Silchar is way older and has more reputation than IIITs. You should study hard in the 1st year in NIT Silchar as 1st year is common in every department and if you will be able to score more than 9 CGPA then you can apply for branch transfer in CSE. NIT Silchar has a facility of branch transfer in 2nd year so you can go for CSE in 2nd year.

The lab subjects covered in the IITB Electrial Engineering course are related to the specialisation. Each of the semester has some lab subjects in it. Students have to pass the lab subjects separately to get admission. Some of the lab subjects included in the course curriculum are:
- Physics Lab/Chemistry Lab
- Digital Systems Lab
- Analog Circuits Lab
- Power Engineering Lab
- Communications Lab, etc.

B.Tech CSE has better placements than B.Tech Electrical Engineering at R.R. Group of Institutions. In B.Tech CSE, an average of 90% of students are placed while In B.Tech Electrical Engineering, the average placement rate is 75%. The highest Package offered to B.Tech CSE students is INR 16 LPA while for B.Tech Electrical Engineering Students, it is around INR 7-8 LPA.

You must Obtain at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. or Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year.
