The admission procedure in Manav Rachna University for B.Tech Electrical and Electronics includes meeting the eligibility criteria, completing application process and appear for entrance exam.
The eligibility criteria is you must have passed your 12th with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics as Compulsory subjects. Apply online through the official website of college, upload necessary documents and pay the application fees and download application form. Most importantly you need to appear for either Manav Rachna National Aptitude Test or JEE Mains entrance exam.

At IIIT Surat, the total number of available seats for BTech in Electronics and Communications Engineerings is 90. There is also a female supernumerary seat reservation which includes 15 seats. The seats for this course are also subject to seat reservation policies followed by IIIT Surat.

You can definitely get lateral entry admission to BTech in ECE after completing a 3-year engineering Diploma in ECE, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with at least 50% marks. Further, you need to give relevant lateral entry admission tests either conducted by the state or the university itself.
The lateral entry provision allows you to directly enter into the 2nd year of BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering, completing your B Tech degree in 3 years.

For pursuing Electronics and Communication Engg. courses at the undergraduate level, you must have completed Class 12 in the Science background with PCM subjects with at least 50 to 60 percent marks in the board exams.
Further, you will have to appear for and pass entrance tests conducted at the national/state/institutional levels for admission to ECE courses. After the results are out, you must apply for the counselling process online and appear for the same on the given date.
