At IIIT Surat, the total number of available seats for BTech in Electronics and Communications Engineerings is 90. There is also a female supernumerary seat reservation which includes 15 seats. The seats for this course are also subject to seat reservation policies followed by IIIT Surat.

The syllabus for Communication Engineering courses is a mixture of core and elective subjects. To apply for admission to Communications Engineering courses, you need to stay updated about all the admission-related notifications that get released on the official websites of the colleges you're targeting, as the application forms get released in the online mode on the website with enough time for all the applicants to apply.
You just need to fill in all your details correctly, upload the scanned copies of all important documents, and submit the application fee.

To get admission to Communications Engineering courses at the UG level, most of the top-ranked colleges consider valid entrance exam scores. You need to get excellent marks in the same to be able to grab a seat for the course.
Having said that, there are some colleges that also give admission on the basis of marks scored in Class 12 board exams and often take extra rounds like the GD or PI to test the capability of the candidates.
Further, a few colleges may give 50-50 weightage to both the parameters. So, you need to check the respective college websites for precise information.

Almost every college in India offering courses in Communications Engineering or related fields charges an admission application fee of approximately INR 500 to INR 3,000, depending on the course level and college ranking and popularity.
