B.Tech Eligibility

In order to be considered, candidates must have completed their 10+2 coursework with physics and math as required courses and computer science, chemistry, biology, or biotechnology as electives. The qualifying exam requires a minimum aggregate score of 45% (or 40% for protected categories). WBJEE or JEE Main scores are used to determine admission. Candidates must have a B.Sc. in mathematics or a Diploma in engineering or technology from an accredited board or university in order to be considered for lateral admission It is required to have Indian citizenship or OCI status.

Admission is based on West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) score or merit in Class 12. There's also an institute-level quota for students who perform well academically or through state board results.
