B.Tech Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 60% marks in PCM and a minimum of 50% marks in English in 10th/12th examination

• There is also a lateral entry scheme into the 2nd and 3rd year of B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering) for Diploma holders in Mechanical/Marine Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks overall
• Candidates who qualify for the course will have to submit a Physical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of certificate verification

To be eligible for B Tech at Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology (ASIET), you must meet the following criteria:

• Nationality: You must be a citizen of India.
• Age: You must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2023.
• Academic Qualifications:
  • You must have passed the 10+2 examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or an examination recognised equivalent thereto.

• Entrance Examination:
  • You must qualify in the Engineering Entrance Exam conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams,  Govt. of Kerala.

The EAMCET entrance test is the basis for admission to HITAM. Applicants for B.Tech programmes must submit the TS EAMCET application. The next round of candidates must show up for the Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU), Hyderabad, administered TS EAMCET. Following the results announcement, a cutoff is made public, and candidates must reach the TS EAMCET cutoff. Candidates who satisfy the cutoff must take part in the counselling procedure. The first option that candidates must choose when filling out the choice form is HITAM Hyderabad.
