GNIT Scholarships 2023
GNIT provides a huge number of scholarships under different scholarship schemes run by itself and the government (Central & State).
Freeship schemes for students belonging to poor economic backgrounds. For availing of this they have to provide relevant documents relating to their family income. The UG/PG students who have completed a Diploma in Engineering from the institute itself can avail of a discount of INR 10,000 to INR 60,000. There is also a PG scholarship scheme of a 20% discount per semester for M. Tech students scoring DGPA 7.0 in the last exam.
A special Sikh scholarship of 50% for tuition fees can be availed from the second semester onwards. In addition to these there is an Employee Scholarship on tuition fees for children/sibling of employees (3-5 years: 10%, 5-10 years: 15%, 10-15 years: 25% & 15+ years: 40%).
Central & State Government scholarships include Swanath Scholarship Scheme (AICTE), National Scholarship Portal, Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme, Kanyasree Scholarship, West Bengal Freeship Scheme, etc.

What's new at GNIT Kolkata cut off 2022? WBJEE Round 2 Seat Allotment result for BTech has released on Sep 15. Students can view WBJEE 2022 Counselling result by logging in using WBJEE Roll Number and Password. Students can make payment of seat acceptance fee, report to allotted institutes for document verification and admission and withdrawal till Sep 19 by 6 pm.
GNIT Kolkata admission 2022 to BTech course is based on WBJEE 2022 rank for an annual seat intake of 294 students. WBJEE Exam is followed by WBJEE Counselling. The cutoffs are generally declared in three rounds with opening and closing ranks for each of the BTech specialisations. If you are other than OC then You will definetly get seat but you won't get CSE or ECE. You can go with EEE, ETM and IT.
