Must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies.
Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category of Haryana Only) in the above subjects taken together.

Yes, after Diploma students are eligible for B.Tech but there are less chances of getting any government or good private college with 59.96%. Diploma needs higher percentage to stand with the students of 12th class.

Eligibility criteria for B.Tech at Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering Management and Research is as follows:
1) The Candidate should be an Indian National
2) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together;

The eligibility criteria for BTech at Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University differ based on the course. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering (MPSTME) are as follows:
- Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% marks for Backward class, EWS & PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
