For IIITDM Kancheepuram BTech admission, candidates must have passed Class 12 (Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology as an optional subject) with at least 75% aggregate. Apart from the minimum eligibility requirement, candidates are also required to appear for the JEE Main entrance test, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).  

Aspirants who passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject with 75% aggregate (65% for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to take admission. For BTech admission at JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, candidates must have a valid JEE Main/ MHT CET score. The institute releases separate merit lists for each of the entrance tests. Hence, a separate list is released for students who applied with JEE scores and for the applicants with MHT CET scores. Candidates applying with MHT CET scores have to participate in the counselling as well. Further, no other entrance exam scores are accepted for admission.

To be eligible for BTech, students must have completed their Class 12 with 75% aggregate (for the General category). For more details on the subject, students can reach out to the admission office. Additionally, admission to NIT Nagaland for its four-year BTech course is subject to a valid score in JEE Main followed by JoSAA Counselling. For seats that remain vacant after JoSAA counselling, admission is offered via CSAB Counselling.
