Candidates must have received a minimum of 45% marks in their Class 12 or equivalent test from the RBSE, CBSE, or another recognised board of education to be eligible for the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) programme at College of Engineering Roorkee (COER).

Candidates must have passed minimum two/ three years Diploma examination or pass a BSc Degree from a recognised University as defined by UGC, with minimum 45% aggregate (40% aggreagte in case of SC/ ST candidates and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only). Moreover, the selection process to the programme is based on Diploma aggregate scores.

For IIITDM Kancheepuram BTech admission, candidates must have passed Class 12 (Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology as an optional subject) with at least 75% aggregate. Apart from the minimum eligibility requirement, candidates are also required to appear for the JEE Main entrance test, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Class 12 with a 50% aggregate in Science is the basic eligibility for BTech at Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. Further, KEAM & ICAR scores are considered for the selection of candidates.
