The admission is based on the board exam cut off scores and there will be no entrance exam. However, you need to enroll for TNEA counselling under Anna University. If your cut off is more, then you can get B.Tech robotics course at PSG.

There is no rule as such. Regardless for your stream in diploma, you can choose any specializations in B.Tech. The admission in B.Tech is through LEET Exam for diploma holders. And there is nothing like; LEET pattern is different for different streams. Hence, you can choose any stream as you like. Hope this helps. Upvote the answer if you feel satisfied. Good luck.

Eligibility percentage will be of mandatory subjects.
Minimum percentage required for MBC and DNC candidate is 40%.
A candidate who has completed 10+2 with vocation subjects is also eligible to apply. Vocational courses prescribed for admissions are General Machinist/ Electrical Machines and Appliances/ Electronic Equipment/ Draughtsman Civil/ Auto Mechanic/ Textile Technology.
