B.Tech Placement

The placements are very good for the last two years, the annual salary of Rs 24 Lacs was offered by Code Nation in 2015 and Annual Salary of Rs 18 Lacs offered by Amazon in 2016 Annual Salary of Rs 15 Lacs plus benefits offered by Flipkart in the same year, ample of reputed companies have visited this time also like:

Many more companies recruited here in mechanical engineering and last year Coal India have offered a package of 12 LPA along with other core engineering government companies like BPCL, HPCL, IOCL hired near about 15 students for internship and all over. The average of around 7 LPA can be expected.

The institute combines pioneering research with top class education. An innovative curriculum allows the students flexibility in selecting course and projects. Students even at undergraduate level, get to participate in ongoing research and technology development and opportunity unprecedented in India. The International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad is very famous for its placement whether it is CSE or it is IT or ECE. It came in the rankings of the highest and average package provided by the college in the placement. Average package given by the companies in placement is from Rs 7 Lacs to Rs 9 Lacs for ECE branch. There are many famous companies that come for the placement. Most of the students as told above go for the research by doing their Masters in their respective branches.

It all accounts to one thing, don't expect an average placement of more than 3.5-4 Lacs. There were some of the companies that visited campus during the year 2017. PwC, EY, SAP labs, Musigma, Amazon, ThoughWorks, Hitachi Consulting, Samsung R&D, Dell India, HSBC, Huwei Technology, Zoho Corporation, Capgemini, Idea Communications, Tata Comm. , CSC, ITC infotech, L&T infotech, Gofrugal, Virtusa, payoda, Code Brahma, Standard Charted's Scope Int. , Ericsson, MAQ for internship, Unisys, Volante technologies, Verizon, TEK systems, HUL, Amadeus Software Labs, HP india, Alcatel, NTT Data and many more. IIT ranks 6 in the list of top colleges of India. Indian Institute of Technology-Guwahati offers many courses out of which Electronics and communication engineering is one of the courses which offers about 70 seats to students. It offers the students with hands on experience programs to work on real time based machines in industry interactive sessions. IIT-Guwahati is known for its great infrastructure faculty with 5 to 10 years of experience and they are very knowledgeable and facilities like Wi-Fi, Sports Complex and labs with better equipment and machines. It is sister branch of Electronics and Electrical Engineering. The placement of these courses takes place together. Dell, Flipkart, Google, HP, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Oracle, Service Now, Snapdeal, Thornton, TomasettiVisa Inc. , Vodafone, Walmart, etc.

The batch of 2017 from mining engineering of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology was left without a job and so the branch offers hundred percent placements in the college. Some students even wish to get placed at corporate companies that show up during the placement drive but only a few are allowed to sit for placements in same. Otherwise almost every student gets placed at Coal India, and the interview is just another formality.

As far as I know, till date for academic year 2016-17, total about 760 plus students have been placed in different companies. Many IT, CORE companies come for placement in our college having satisfactory annual packages. For Mechatronics Branch:-
There is a 100 % placement record of this college. The average package provided by this college is 4 lacs. The highest package provided by this college is 33 lacs. Even this year several high profile packages have been offered to IT and CS branch students and also Mechatronics branch. New entrants this year include Bloomberg, Dahlberg, Roland Berger, Wrig Nanosystems, FinMechanics and a few recent startups. As a result of rains, a few companies, which could not make it to the campus for placement sessions, would hold interviews on Skype to complete the recruitment process.

100% placement will be there. Many companies will come to our college starting from 3 Lacs per annum to 24 Lacs per annum. Not only in IT companies, our students will also get place in many core companies
The college have a good placement record. 100% of the students are placed. All the IT companies Wipro, Accenture, CTS, etc. Come every year of the campus. They provide a package around 2-3L per annum. Amazon, Flipkart, Dell offer around 6-8L per annum. The highest offer was 18L per annum buy DE shaw. Placements in PSG tech are very good, the campus is visited by variety of companies from MNC to local companies the college first brings the MNC companies like goldman sachs, intel, amazon, microsoft, ebay, etc. And the service based companies like cognizant, tcs, wipro, etc. , and the local companies will be given a chance to recruit our students for those who wish to work in the home town.
