Mumbai is a one of the well-known engineering colleges in Maharashtra and is said to be ranked second in Maharashtra after College of engineering, Pune (excluding IITs and NITs). Getting into this college through MH-CET requires a lot of efforts too. Placements of VJTI are pretty good when compared to other government colleges in Maharashtra. For EEE department last time (2016-17) out of 64 students who applied to placements from EEE department 59 students were placed meaning 92.18 percent placement for EEE which is a quite good number. Talking about the placements of Chemical Engineering at IIT Madras is, almost 100% ratio is seen every year. The average package lies in the range of 8-9 LPA CTC. Companies like Amazon, Zomato, Pepperfry, Cisco, Oracle, Jpmorgan, Morgan stanley, Microsoft, Flipkart, Intuit, Makemytrip, Fractal Analytics, Relinace Industry, Tata Consultancy, etc. Recruit the students. The highest package goes as high as 30 LPA. Some international firms also visit here every year. Internship through college is average. Students who have a good GPA are mostly selected for PPOs and also the internship. Infrastructure and Faculty are simply great and college is accredited globally. According to the National Institute Ranking Framework, Delhi Technological University was ranked 39th in India and around 3rd in Delhi. DTU is well known among recruiters and provides decent placements to its students. Last time total 26 offers were made for PSCT students. The exact placement stats aren't released by DTU publicly. The average package is around 6-7 LPA for PSCT. Companies like Google, yahoo, Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Future First, NTPC, Gail, EIL, TRAI and Schlumberger are regular recruiters at DTU.

The cut-offs for ECE usually are high and so the students who get this branch have an in born aptitude for doing well in academics. DTU ECE students are yearly recruited by top companies like Qualcomm, Airtel, SanDisk, TI, Texas, Samsung, ARM, Nvidia, Freescale and many other core electronics companies.
