B.Tech Placement

Heritage Institute of Technology situated in Kolkata is a private institute taking the students for engineering stream.
Though the college is not so much remarkable and up to the mark when it comes to infrastructure but is improving itself and hence can be considered as okay.
Now, coming to the placement stats, the average placement from here is around 3 to 4 lakh and highest package offered is from Microsoft which is around 16 lakhs.
Although, the above placement data is from CSE, ECE, IT, etc.
Also, frankly speaking, the college do not have a good placement record other than these three branch though, many IT based companies visit for mass recruitment such as TCS, Infosys as well as Wipro.
Also, the faculty members are good, but not up to the level to meet the requirements of industry as well as modern world.
So, in all, the college is good for the core branches only, and should not, be preferred for distance education. Although, students from West Bengal can have it as their last option but for the three mentioned branches.

VNIT-Nagpur invites various public and private sector organizations for campus recruitment of final year students. During the academic year 2016-17, more than 100 companies visited the campus. These included all the major companies like Morgan Stanley, L & T Group, Bajaj Auto, Qualcomm India Pvt Ltd, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Hyundai Mobis, John Deere, AVAYA India, Godrej Industries, Vedanta Ltd; Hindalco, Ashok Leyland, Amazon, Citicorp Finance India Ltd., JP Morgan, ABB, and many more. All these companies offered 543 jobs UG & PG students (458 UG & 85 PG) as on 30th June 2017.

Harcourt Butler Technical University, also known as HBTU is among good universities in Kanpur. CSE is one of the finest branch here. A lot of good companies visit the campus for recruitment. Some of the companies are ACCENTURE, Adobe, Amazon, IBM, Idea Cellular Services. Infosys, ITC, etc. The average package is around Rs 4 to Rs 5 lakhs per annum. The faculties here are quite good. Some are highly qualified and some are experienced. The highest package is around Rs 8 to Rs 10 lakhs per annum. The students are good here and the atmosphere inside the campus is apt. Here, the students get each and every facility. The infrastructure is really good. This is all about the scenario of B.Tech in CSE in Harcourt Butler Technical University.

Well, when you are talking about Symbiosis it is a well-renowned institute in the country which caters to various courses including engineering, management, and science.
Talking about mechanical engineering it is one of the finest institutes to study in and one can expect to be on the top after completing the degree from Symbiosis. Well, a mechanical branch is the top most branch of engineering with the complex handling of the machine automatically developed the design and research and development in the filled with machine mostly.
So if you are from Symbiosis then you can be a top getter in the career.
The area in the career is:-Design, R&D, production, manufacturing etc.
The companies visiting the campus are:-TATA, Indian Navy, Nissan, ISGEC, Bombardier, Maruti Suzuki for core branch and HDFC TCS for support activity.
The minimum package can range from Rs 3.5 lakh per annum and highest can be around Rs 7 lakh offered rarely to a mechanical student.
As compared to CSE/IT mechanical guys can not get that much package but after the experience, they are at the top position. I wish all the candidate luck.

BE placements from Jadavpur university are far better as compared to other institutions of Bengal.
There is a large scope for civil engineers in both corporate as well as the North East India, where Jadavpur university students find a path to do better in future.
Talking about the average placements from the university, it is been around Rs 6.5 lakh per annum, the highest being Rs 15 lakh and lowest being Rs 3 lakh.
Since there are many companies visiting for non-civil fields then also civil students participating and getting selected are contributing to high placement percentage.
Though overall, university is very nice, but one should get more information about the locality and culture of the university before taking admission as it may not suit the north Indian as told to me by one of my seniors.
Also, the admission process is through West Bengal JEE conducted every year where one has to perform the best for getting into a civil branch of the most elite institution of Bengal.

50% of the students opting for automobile engineering go for further studies. Some students with higher gpa and other good records get placed in core companies. Many get placed in IT companies. Even many of the bright students get placed in IT. There could many reasons :
There are many many companies recruiting from MIT Manipal but the problem is what to choose, core company or IT company?
First of all take this very seriously, the life of an engineer at a production company is tough. I do not mean to scare you, but it is true, unfortunately. Its not like at the IT companies where you can get a lot of time and also a good city. However you will become a tough person gradually. So to answer the question that some of you guys have asked Which to prefer: IT company or core company?
If you want to join a core company for the money, youll be surprised! An IT company will give you a similar payout after 3-4 years and would also give you lot of options to witch companies and also other benefits. I suggest you join a core company if and only if you actually like Mechanical or automobile engineering! Else, you'll end up frustrated. Another reason you will join the core company is because you may not like sitting continuously for 8 hours.
The Core experience helps a lot for MS admissions to a good university abroad and getting a research project / research assistant position under a professor and getting a job after MS. They love it if you have any industry experience. The underline however is that the project should be related to your specialization during your Masters.
